Whenever the conversation swings over to Paris, many have called Social Club resident Bambounou the coolest Frenchman to ever live, but more importantly – a peer-less producer of twisted, sparse & and heavy Parisian club vibes. His signature ice cold percussion and the FATTEST kick drums have made waves across the globe, and when he’s not cooped up in the studio of analog-banger king pins Modeselektor, you’ll find him behind the 1’s and 2’s at the most crucial nightclubs, all over Europe.

Home to some of the brightest sparks in French club music, Bambounou started life alongside French Fries and Chaos In The CBD on the fledging Clek Clek Boom label, releasing the era defining 2 tracker Night/Brawl, and lending his hand to 1 of the biggest hear-it-everywhere anthems of 2011, French Fries undeniable club killer ‘Hugz’ (you know.. with the infectious, straight to the point vocal sample, “I JUST WANNA FUCK”).

Somehow, in between travelling the globe rocking far away lands from Lithuania to Brazil, he managed to put together the genre-hoping album ORBITING, eventually presented to the world on the 50 WEAPONS label, home of classic releases from Addison Groove, Shed, Dark Sky and way more.
