Geisha Presents Mat.Joe

Mat.Joe are the Berlin-based duo whose Neukölln studio has been feeding bombs to everyone from Snatch! and Gruuv to Defected and Toolroom. Originally from Hannover, the pair first bonded over rap, breakdance and skateboarding, forming the hip hop production team Twomanics to create beats. It was in Berlin, however, where they moved for a fresh challenge, that they found their calling in house music. The boys have dominated the Deep House charts over the last year with a string of bomb tunes and bass heavy remixes.

For Mat.Joe, inspiration is found everywhere between subway rides, late night showers and favourite bars. New ideas are kept manically on every smartphone nearby. This is sound autism at the highest stage. Mat.Joe’s love for music and the ambition to improve are the main ingredients that keep the engine running. Jump on-board.
