KASTLE [San Francisco/ Symbols] ‘STAY FOREVER’ EP TOUR

The popularity of bass-heavy dance music is spreading like wildfire across the world, with many producers crafting their own styles of dubstep, grime and garage. In the city of San Francisco, CA DJ/producer Kastle has cultivated his own style of bass-heavy beats with a soulful twist.

After teaching himself guitar and piano at the age of 12, Barrett Richards pooled his efforts towards electronic instrumentation about two years later. He began taking production as seriously as he did DJing during that time, and involved himself deep into the Northeast rave scene. It was no surprise that in time, though, personal growth and 14 years of production experience paired with a degree in audio engineering would breed a new sound. Kastle came to life at a pivotal moment after a big move from Boston back to his hometown of Pittsburgh in March 2009. After nearly a year of conceptualizing, he knew he was working on something special.

“Kastle pushes the kind of soulful, low-end-centered, forward-thinking dubstep tunes that could just as easily soundtrack a night out at the club as they could the lonely walk home afterwards.” – XLR8R

Mightyfools

Mightyfools is that crazy Dutch DJ-Duo that is praised by their positive high energy on stage, and their big room sound with heavy basslines. Some years ago the two made a quick welcome start in the global dance scene, quickly gaining airplay and massive support from DJ’s worldwide which resulted in a jetset lifestyle of nonstop international touring, rocking clubs and festival mainstages all over the world.

Reaching the Beatport charts with almost every track they released and flying all over the globe for performances made the years pass by, but not a single day left unnoticed. This resulted in being playlisted and charted by top-notch Dj’s like Laidback Luke, Knife Party, DJ Chuckie, Bingo Players, Hardwell, Crookers, Diplo, Don Diablo, Fedde Le Grand, Paul Oakenfold, Fake Blood, Dr Lektroluv, Dada Life, Tiesto, Major Lazer, Sidney Samson and many many more. Recordlabels responded quickly as well. Bingo Players’ Hysteria Records, Laidback Luke’s Mixmash, Lektroluv Records, Ultra Music, One Love, Island, Sony, Vicious and Universal all claimed some of their dancefloor hits.

The duo remixed many great tracks of a variety of artists. For instance the world famous rockband Fall-Out Boy on their song ‘I Don’t Care’, (which was praised by the band on their own website by the way). Pop act Owl City’s hit song ‘Fireflies’, Italian DJ-superstar Benny Benassi on his worldwide released single ‘Control’ and worldwide top artists Pitbull and Fatman Scoop where both rappers collab on ‘Raise The Roof’.
Not to forget remixes for underground house superstars like Tommie Sunshine, Dillon Francis and Crookers. Tracks have been getting radio airplay worldwide, been played on MTV and were used by Comedy Central for commercials.

All this effort ended up in non-stop touring, bringing their high-energy and worldwide appreciated DJ sets to quality events like (here we go): Sensation Amsterdam, Summadayze Festival Australia, Summafieldayze Festival Australia, Sonar Barcelona, Dirty Dutch, Mysteryland Festival, Extrema Outdoor, Creamfields UK, DimMak Tuesdays Hollywood LA, Dance Valley, WMC Miami, Club MTV, Amsterdam Dance Event, Noorderslag and clubs and events like Social Club Paris, Gatecrasher UK, Razzmatazz Barcelona, Rauw Amsterdam, Fuse Brussels, Beta Denver, Chinese Laundry Sydney, Woda Mexico City, Voyeur San Diego, events for brands such as Vice, Jägermeister, MTV and Bacardi.

You can imagine that Mightyfools have gained fans and friends from Sydney to Los Angeles, Mexico to Russia, all over Europe, Australia and North America. Carried by the crowd the guys feel blessed with their well-deserved spot in the top of the global dance scene. Hello World!
