The Hangover part 3
The geisha staff xmas party – or as management refer to it “The Wine Appreciation Training Event” (for tax reasons) – was this Sunday and Monday and I learned a few things
- Sandalford is Perths oldest winery.
- Grapes are fermented for longer to make a white.
- No matter how many times someone explaining wine to you says fermented it never gets old.
- A wine tasting where they say “just help yourself to the wines and if you need any more just get one of the girls to grab you some” is a recipe for disaster.
- 3 wineries and 2Lt of wine before lunch is a great way to start the day…. except for the bus driver.
- Lunch is the best meal of the day.
- Very few people stop to pick up a drunk glassie hitch-hiking through middle swan.
- The chocolate factory should never be visited late in the day.
- An $1100 bottle of rum sitting next to a slushie machine is a peculiar sight and a guilty way to drink.
- Always remember to change your alarm BEFORE going out drinking as you will inevitably forget when you come home later that night.
