In case you have been hiding under a very large rock, the U.S Supreme Court has legalised same-sex marriage across all 52 states.
Barack Obama’s speech blew me away. It is one for the history books. Here is just a sample;
• “Love is love.”
• “It’s a victory for gay and lesbian couples who have fought so long for their basic civil rights.”
• “…a vindication of the belief that ordinary people can do extraordinary things.”
• “…all people should be treated equally, regardless of who they are or who they love.”
In the end, love wins.
