Just when you thought it couldn’t get any madder, the modern world and the hideous scourge that is political correctness rears its aesthetically challenged head again but the PC nazis have really outdone themselves this time.

Putting an advert on seek for staff last week, I was informed of English precedent from a couple of a years ago (we use the same Westminster system) where employers lodging job ads were warned they would be in breach of anti-discrimination law for …..are you ready?…..brace yourself….saying in their ad “Must be hard working and reliable”.

No I am not joking, this is true. Apparently you are not allowed to discriminate against those that aren’t hard working or reliable….words escape me, common sense is trampled underfoot and sanity has well and truly left the building.
