I love a good theme party. I know everyone my age (25) is starting to feel like we are too old for fun stuff like getting dressed up to party, but I just can’t shake the excitement of hosting dress-up parties. One thing that really irks me is when people don’t fucking get into it!!!! A common excuse is that they want to look good for going out afterwards. Bitch please. You can bring a change of clothes and become a ho again before you want to go out, but while you’re at MY PARTY you best be wearing some kind of hilarious/smutty costume.

The thing is, I throw a MEAN theme party. I go ALL OUT for that shit. Living for the sesh and all that. You’d better believe there are no regular coloured lightbulbs up in my gaf when I throw a party! Halloween is the be-all and end-all of all good dress-up parties, if we’re being honest. You can’t even use clubbing later as an excuse, because usually the clubs welcome Halloween dress for their own Halloween parties too!

The great thing about Halloween is that you can get real slutty with it. Yeah, yeah, I know, but most of us gals spend all year trying our best to look slutty and hot in a “natural” way that screams that we are not trying in any way whatsoever to look hot. So it’s kind of nice to actually just put our hotness up in people’s faces and be like “deal with it, motherfucker!”

There are Halloween costume ideas out there that will make any girl look hot – it doesn’t matter if you don’t like your body, just find the dress that makes you feel sexiest and then build a costume around it! If you don’t like your face, you can hide it behind various painting techniques/ half masks or whatever. You literally get to dress the way that society stops you from dressing all the time. Hell, if I could get away with it, I’d dress as Cleopatra all day every day, cos that shit works for me, tbh.

So if you’re going to do one thing this year, make it this: EMBRACE THE DRESS-UP PARTY! Throw one yourself! Bring back pure unadulterated hotness for all.
